This Iron Bowl Hero is Leaving Tuscaloosa

Sophomore wide receiver Ja’Corey Brooks missed the entire spring period because of an injury but has gotten off to a strong start in fall camp according to Nick Saban.

The fourth annual Operation Iron Ruck kicked off Wednesday, and sees student veterans from University fo Alabama and Auburn University trekking across the state ahead of the Iron Bowl to raise awareness for veteran suicides. The hike ends just before kickoff Saturday.

The mayors of Tuscaloosa and Auburn will continue their long-standing Iron Bowl wager, where the losing team's mayor must make a donation to the other mayor's local charity of choice.

The 86th Iron Bowl will officially kickoff on November 27th at 2:30 p.m. CST in Jordan-Hare Stadium.
