Investigators with the Tuscaloosa Police Department Criminal Investigations Division have charged a teen with robbing a pizza delivery driver.

According to a Friday press release, Amanuel Cameron Oats, 19, was charged with one count of first-degree robbery after he allegedly robbed a pizza delivery driver who was delivering food to a residence on Wiley Drive Thursday night.

Oats allegedly took the victim's phone and a small amount of cash after the victim learned that the address they were meant to deliver to did not exist.

The suspect was arrested and taken into the Tuscaloosa County Jail where he remained Friday. Oats' bond was set at $60,000.
