Surveillance Cameras Catch Dognapping from Tuscaloosa Bar, “Substantial Reward” Offered
Surveillance cameras captured the moment a pet dog was stolen outside a famous Tuscaloosa bar Sunday and a reward is being offered for its safe return or the identification of the thieves.
The pet, Tater, is a bulldog who has been missing since Sunday. On Friday, Gallette's Bar - home of the famous Yellowhammer - took to social media to share footage of the dog being snatched by a group of people.
The videos show two men hopping the patio at Gallettes at 2:37 a.m. Sunday. They grab Tater and hop back over the fence and leave the area carrying him - not before tripping over themselves a few times trying to catch the dog.
A significant reward has been offered for Tater's safe return and for the identity of those involved in his theft.
