A Duncanville man was killed Sunday night in a single-vehicle accident in Tuscaloosa County, Alabama State Troopers confirmed Monday morning.

Corporal Reginal King, a spokesperson for the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency, said 32-year-old Dominique L. Ellis was driving a 2005 Toyota Camry on North Rosser Road Sunday night when he left the roadway and struck several trees.

King said Ellis, who lived in Duncanville, was not wearing a seatbelt at the time of the crash and was pronounced dead at the scene of the accident.

The deadly wreck took place on North Rosser Road about five miles southeast of the city of Tuscaloosa and happened just before 9 p.m., Troopers report.

Nothing further was available Monday morning and King said Troopers with the ALEA's Highway Patrol Division continue to investigate.
