The thunderstorms and rain moving through west Alabama have postponed the HBCU Athletic Conference's baseball and softball title games, which were scheduled for Tuesday at Northport's River Run Park.

As heavy rain and lightning pass through the area with the chance of severe thunderstorms this evening and overnight, the title games have been rescheduled for tomorrow, Wednesday the 29th.

The Hometown heroes Stillman Tigers will take on the No. 1 Dilalrd Bleu Devils for the conference's softball title at 12 p.m., though that could be delayed to 2:30 p.m.

In baseball, East Talladega faces West Huston-Tillotson at 1 p.m., with 4 p.m. as a backup for that game.

Fans who purchased tickets for Tuesday will have their tickets honored on Wednesday, with the presentation of their wristband, the conference said in a press release.
