Serious Single-Vehicle Crash Closes Northeast Tuscaloosa County Road

UPDATE: The Road has reopened. 

A significant single-vehicle crash has closed Crescent Ridge Road in northeastern Tuscaloosa County, State Troopers said Monday morning.

Sergeant Reginal King, a spokesperson for the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency, said a vehicle left the roadway near 9th Street, and wrecker crews are working to recover the vehicle.

King said the accident happened around 12:45 a.m.

Drivers should plan routes to avoid the crash site.

No information on casualties was publicly released Monday morning as ALEA works to contact the families of those involved.
