Shooting Victim on Highway 69 South Expected to Live, Police Investigating
Police in Tuscaloosa are investigating after the victim of a non-fatal shooting was found at a pizzeria on Highway 69 South on Monday.
A large police presence was reported at the Little Caesar's pizzeria in the 5900 block of Alabama Highway 69 South shortly after 5:45 p.m.
Stephanie Taylor, a spokeswoman for the Tuscaloosa Police Department, confirmed to the Thread that a shooting victim was found with non-life-threatening injuries at the scene.
It was not immediately clear if the shooting took place in the area, or if the victim was there from a different location.
The multi-agency Violent Crimes Unit will take over the investigation and release any further details.
