Standoff Drama Leads To Suspect Fleeing
A search for 22-yer-old Taboris Rayshun Doss is underway after an early Saturday morning standoff with law enforcement on Tuscaloosa's west side. The incident began with a 9-1-1 call from a woman at a home at 2600 Fosters Ferry Road. The woman told call takers she had been hit on her head with a handgun during a dispute.

Tuscaloosa Police units responded to the call just before 6:00am yesterday. Units arriving on the scene found the victim had been able to escape the house, but her attacker was still inside.
The Tuscaloosa Police S.W.A.T. unit monitored the house for several house in an apparent standoff. Officers made entry into the home a little after 10:30 a.m. Once insides officers determined the suspect was no longer on the scene.
The suspect reportedly has more outstanding warrants to his name as well. TPD's investigation is ongoing.
At that point in the incident officers were able to obtain a warrant charging Doss with second-degree domestic violence. A records search discovered Doss reportedly has more outstanding warrants in his name. Those charges have not been revealed by authorities at this point.
TPD's investigation is ongoing and authorities ask anyone who knows the whereabouts of Taboris Rayshun Doss to not approach him but instead call 9-1-1.
