Deputies Respond to Friday Morning Homicide in Samantha Area of Tuscaloosa County
Investigators are on the scene of a deadly shooting in the community of Samantha in North Tuscaloosa County.
Details about the incident are still sparse, but Captain Marty Sellers, the commander of the Tuscaloosa Violent Crimes Unit confirmed that they responded to a shooting call and Samantha Friday morning around 10 a.m.

The incident reportedly took place on Billy Bingham Road in Tuscaloosa County off Northside Road.
Sellers said one adult male victim is dead and a suspect is in custody.
