More and more concerts are being announced for the 2021 Tuscaloosa Amphitheater performance season and the lineup just keeps getting better. On Monday morning, promoters Red Mountain Entertainment announced that Grammy Award-winning Erykah Badu will headline a show Tuscaloosa later this year, a move sure to make concert-goers in West Alabama very excited.

Erykah Badu is also known as the Godmother of Soul. She emerged during the 90s neo-soul movement, and several of her albums went platinum. She is set to perform on Sunday, October 10, 2021, at 7:30 p.m. at the Tuscaloosa Amphitheater.

Not only is Badu a talented singer, but she is also a songwriter, record producer and actress. Her list of accolades is lengthy, including American Music Awards, BET Awards, Grammys. MTV Video music award, NAACP Image Awards, Soul Train Music Awards, and Soul Train Lady of Soul awards.
