Police Seize $50,000 Worth of Meth After Pursuit Ends in Tuscaloosa County
Two individuals are in custody after police seized $50,000 worth of methamphetamine in a Tuesday pursuit that ended in Tuscaloosa County.
According to Woodstock Police, an officer attempted to make a traffic stop on a vehicle that was headed south through Woodstock's jurisdiction Tuesday night.
The vehicle fled as the officer initiated the stop, leading to a pursuit. Multiple neighboring departments assisted in the pursuit, including Bibb County 911, Tuscaloosa County Sheriff's Department, Coaling Police Department, Vance Police Department, Centreville Police Department and the Alabama Law Enforcement Association.
Once the pursuit ended, police seized approximately 500 grams of methamphetamine worth $50,000 from the vehicle.
Both suspects are now being held in the Bibb County Jail.
