Tuscaloosa’s Pink Box Burlesque Announces First New Show Since Pandemic Began
The show is back on: Pink Box Burlesque is returning to the stage at the Drish House in Tuscaloosa this August for its new show "Back to Burlesque," the troupe's first live performance in well over a year.
"Back to Burlesque" kicks off at the Historic Drish House on August 21 starting at 7:00 p.m. The show will feature brand new acts performing routines accompanied by live music from the group's matron and her live band, Mama Dixie and the Prize Inside.
In a post announcing the show, the group promised a wild night of teases, tricks and toe-tapping jazz.
The brand-new Sweet Olive Food Truck will be on-site starting at 6 p.m. to serve patrons of the show, and two cocktail bars will be open all night. In addition to the indoors burlesque show, attendees will enjoy a Fire Show featuring Hoops De Ville and many more surprise guests yet to be announced.
Patrons can either purchase a solo seat for $20 or grab a VIP Table for four or five guests that also features cocktail service for $85-105. Tickets go on sale Wednesday, July 21, and will only be available via pre-sale. No tickets will be sold at the door.
