
Pedestrian Struck on Tuscaloosa’s 10th Avenue, Diverting Traffic
Police are on 10th Avenue in Tuscaloosa after a pedestrian was struck by a train there Tuesday morning.
A spokesperson for the Tuscaloosa Police Department said on Facebook that a pedestrian was hit by a car near the railroad crossing on 10th, which is in the middle of the city, not far from Central High School, Scooter's Coffee, and the University of Alabama campus.

TPD said that because of the accident, traffic is being diverted while first responders assist and investigate.
