Pedestrian in Critical Condition After Being Struck by 2 Vehicles in Tuscaloosa
A young man in Tuscaloosa is in critical condition after he was struck by two vehicles in Tuscaloosa Thursday night.
Stephanie Taylor, a spokesperson for the Tuscaloosa Police Department, said officers were called to Hackberry Lane and Black Bear's Way in central Tuscaloosa late Thursday night after 10:30 p.m.
Taylor said a 24-year-old pedestrian was found to have been struck by two vehicles - Taylor said two drivers both called TPD to report they accidentally struck the man while they were driving on Hackberry.
The 24-year-old Tuscaloosa resident was taken to DCH Regional Medical Center and Taylor said he is still being treated for life-threatening injuries Friday morning.
Taylor said the collisions are under investigation and Hackberry was closed for a few hours Thursday night and before dawn Friday, but has since reopened.
