Paula Stamps Thompson (May 26th, 1953 – December 23rd, 2023)

Paula Stamps Thompson age 70 of Springville, AL. passed away peacefully on Saturday, December 23, 2023, at Grandview Medical Center.

Paula's visitation will be Wednesday, December 27, 2023, from 1:30 to 3:00 pm at Magnolia Chapel South with a Funeral Service beginning at 3:00 pm, Burial will follow in Memory Hill Gardens.

Paula was preceded in death by her mother Pauline Simpson, Father J.T. Stamps Sr., Brothers J.T. Stamps III, John Stamps, Hal Stamps.

Paula is survived by her son William Charles Thompson Jr. (Brooke) and grandchildren Jolie Thompson and Poppy Thompson.

Those who knew Paula were enamored by her Southerness. Her class, kindness and humor were traits that defined her, and of course, that accent. Her rich southern accent was captivating, and we will all miss hearing her speak and laugh. She was a devoted mother and grandmother to her granddaughters Jolie and Poppy and her only son Chuck was dearly loved. Paula was a devoted daughter, sister and an amazing friend. Her friendships spanned decades and were so important to her. She will be missed.

The pallbearers will be Heath Stamps, Jerrod Pumphrey, Mark Pumphrey, Danny Moses, Bobby Moses, John Dalton Holemon.
