
No One Hurt in Thursday Fire at Tuscaloosa Apartment Complex
No one was injured Thursday afternoon in a brief fire at a Tuscaloosa apartment complex, a city spokesperson said.

Holly Whigham, a representative for the Tuscaloosa Fire Rescue service, said they were called to the Cypress Creek apartments off Skyland Boulevard on reports of a fire spreading through units there.
TFR said they arrived around 1:30 and had the fire under control by 2 o'clock. It has been fully extinguished, and Whigham said no one was hurt in the blaze.
