Multi-Car Crash Closes Interstate in Tuscaloosa County Thursday Afternoon
A multi-car collision has blocked all southbound traffic on Interstate 20/59 in Tuscaloosa County on Thursday afternoon.
Corporal Reginal King, a spokesperson for the Alabama Law Enforcement State Troopers, said a crash involving multiple vehicles occurred at approximately 12:30 p.m. on Thursday near Mile Marker 68 near Tuscaloosa.
King said the southbound lanes of I-20 are currently blocked and will be for an undetermined amount of time. A detour has been established at Exit 68.
State Troopers are also on scene directing traffic and working to see the scene cleared.
