Motorcycle Wreck on McFarland Creating Traffic Jam Near Midtown Village
Traffic is clogged near Tuscaloosa's busiest intersection Wednesday after a motorcycle rider was injured in a wreck near Midtown Village.
The accident took place around 3:30 Wednesday and drew medical crews and several Tuscaloosa Police vehicles to the scene.

They have all but one eastbound lane of McFarland Boulevard closed in front of the shopping center, snarling traffic in the area.
A TPD spokesperson said the motorcycle was involved in a collision with a truck and the rider was taken to DCH Regional Medical Center.
No word yet on the state of the rider or how long the lane closures will last.
