Mississippi Woman Arrested with Child Pornography in Tuscaloosa County
A Mississippi woman was arrested in West Alabama last week after investigators found child pornography on her phone, according to new court records.
In a deposition filed Friday, police said they received a tip that in late November, around two dozen videos depicting child pornography had been downloaded to a device with a 205 area code.
The tip led police to Noelle Lynn Savage, who was listed in court records as a resident of Starkville, Mississippi.
Deputies contacted Savage at a residence in Buhl Friday and took her to the Tuscaloosa County Sheriff's Office. There, documents say Savage waived her Miranda rights and confessed to using her phone to find and download child pornography.
Investigators charged the 20-year-old with one count of possessing obscene material of persons under 17.
Savage was booked in the Tuscaloosa County Jail Friday and released on bond Monday.
