The Tuscaloosa Amphitheater announced Friday that Miranda Lambert is set to perform in Tuscaloosa this April.

Lambert will be joined by The Cadillac Three at the Amp the night of Wednesday April 27.

Lambert, an American country music singer and songwriter, got her start in 2001 when she released her self-titled debut album independently. Her second and major-label debut album "Kerosene" (2005) was certified platinum in the United States and included four singled that all reached the top 40 on the Billboard Hot Country Songs.

Her second and third albums, released in 2007 and 2009 respectively, included chart-topping singles like "Gunpowder & Lead" and "The House That Built Me."

Lambert has won three Grammy awards and earned twenty-one nominations. In April 2018, Lambert won the ACM Award for Female Vocalist of the Year for the ninth consecutive year, surpassing Reba McEntire as the most awarded in the category in 2017.

She is joined by The Cadillac Three, a Southern rock group, which has released three albums and has charted three singles on the Hot Country Songs and Country Airplay charts.

Hit singles by the band include "The South," "Party Like You" and "White Lighting." 

The band's lead singer and guitarist, Jaren Johnston, has also written singles for Keith Urban, Tim McGraw, Steven Tyler and Jake Owen.

Tickets go on sale next Friday, January 14, at 10 a.m.
