Mary Frances Bigham Sanford (September 9th, 1935 – November 2nd, 2024)

Mary Frances Bigham Sanford, age 89, of Northport, Ala., passed away November 2, 2024 at her residence.

Services will be 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, November 6, 2024, at Phillips Chapel FWB Church with Bro. Terrell Jones and Bro. Roger Lucas officiating. Burial will follow in the adjoining cemetery with Magnolia Chapel North directing. Visitation will be one hour prior to services at the church.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Junior Sanford; her parents, Henry and Clemmie Bigham; and five brothers and two sisters.

Survivors include her sons, Leonard Sanford (Judy) and Scott Sanford (Twila); daughter, Cindy Sanford; sisters, Edna Rogers and Ann Smith; brother, Edward Bigham; grandchildren, Courtney Busby, Wes Sanford, Alex Sanford, and Jake Sanford; six great-grandchildren, Maddox Busby, Tripp Busby, Grey Sanford, Millie Sanford, Ryan Sanford, and Joanna Sanford; numerous nieces and nephews, and two special nieces, Cathy Rogers and Louise Dean.

Our Mama was a loving wife, mother, Maw Maw, and sister and will be deeply missed by all that knew and loved her!

Pallbearers will be Wes Sanford, Alex Sanford, Jake Sanford, Dennis Sanford, Jeff Sanford, and Roger Sanford.

Honorary pallbearers are the staff of Hospice of West Alabama.
