
BREAKING: Man Injured in Tuesday Shooting in Northport, Alabama
Police in Tuscaloosa County are investigating after a man was struck by gunfire in Northport Tuesday night.
Details about the incident are still extremely sparse, but Marty Sellers, the co-commander of the multi-agency Tuscaloosa Violent Crimes Unit, confirmed the VCU has been called to assist on reports of a shooting.

Keith Carpenter, the assistant chief of the Northport Police Department, said the shooting was reported shortly after 8:15 p.m. Tuesday at Northgate Circile.
Sellers said one victim was shot and their condition is currently unknown. Carpenter confirmed one male victim has been transported to DCH Regional Medical Center with injuries.
