Kennedy said witnesses and evidence on the scene led investigators to identify Charles Darron Richardson as their suspect - Kennedy said it appears the two men had been arguing before the shooting.

Richardson, already wanted for Receiving Stolen Property, was located early Saturday morning and arrested by Tuscaloosa Police working with the US Marshal's Fugitive Task Force.

Richardson, 40, has been charged with murder and possessing a firearm while prohibited - he has a pre-existing felony conviction that makes having a gun illegal.

Kennedy said the suspect has been placed in the Tuscaloosa County Jail with no bond, pursuant to Aniah's Law.
