With under two weeks before elections for Tuscaloosa's mayor's office, city council and municipal school board, all candidates have been invited to a forum on Thursday night.

The League of Women Voters of Greater Tuscaloosa is a chapter of the nonpartisan organization founded in 1920 to inform and support the American electorate, and they will host the event tomorrow.

A LWVGT spokesperson said the two-hour candidate forum will take place from 6:40 until 8:30 p.m. Thyrsday in the Fellowship Hall of Grace Presbyterian Church at 113 Hargrove Road in Tuscaloosa.

As the Thread has reported, six total municipal races are contested, and eight other offices will be filled by incumbents and one newcomer who ran unopposed.

The event will also be posted to the organization's Facebook, YouTube channel and their website.
