‘Live at the Plaza’ Concert Canceled for Rain, Makeup Scheduled for August
Friday night's 'Live at the Plaza' concert has been called off because of bad weather, the city of Tuscaloosa has confirmed.
The free show was set to feature Jus Gruv Entertainment and the B-Sides, but persistent thunderstorms Friday morning led city officials to postpone it.
According to posts on the city's social media accounts, Jus Gruv will return for a makeup event on August 6th.
There's still plenty to do in town this weekend, though, including Townsquare Media's own Free Movies Downtown at Sundown, a weekly, family-friendly event set to feature a showing of the Princess and the Frog in Government Plaza Saturday at dusk, weather permitting.
