Lead the Fight Against Cancer at the Relay For Life of Tuscaloosa
You can join the movement for a world without cancer at the American Cancer Society Relay For Life of Tuscaloosa on Friday, May 13 at Central High School from 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. Activities include Survivor dinner, opening ceremony and lap, campsite judging, games, and a luminaria event plus closing lap.
What is Relay For Life?
“Relay For Life is a community of survivors, caregivers, local citizens, volunteers, and participants who believe that the future can be free from cancer and own the power to make that change,” said the Press Release.

The Relay For Life of Tuscaloosa wants to “encourage all survivors to register online at www.relayforlife.org/tuscaloosaal so you don’t miss out on the event festivities” that are sponsored by DCH’s Lewis and Faye Manderson Cancer Center.
The press release said that “in 2022, almost 1.9 million new cases of cancer will be diagnosed in the United States. Thanks to that shared passion, the lifesaving mission of the American Cancer Society can’t be stopped, ensuring we are here for everyone who needs us.”
