The band was the soundtrack of the late 1970s, with super hits like "Get Down Tonight," "I'm Your Boogie Man," "Shake Your Booty" and "Keep It Comin' Love" topping charts until other genres took over the 80s.

Now, original frontman Harry Wayne Casey is bringing the band to Tuscaloosa on their 80th anniversary tour.

Red Mountain Entertainment said KC & the Sunshine band will be joined by special guests Rose Royce & Dazz Band.

Tickets go on sale this Friday, April 19th, at noon on ticketmaster.com and at the Mercedes Benz Amphitheater Box Office.
