One person was injured and another is in police custody after a shooting at the Ramada Inn on Tuscaloosa's Skyland Boulevard, investigators confirmed Tuesday morning.

Jack Kennedy, the commander of the multi-agency Tuscaloosa Violent Crimes Unit, said the victim was being treated by a medical team at 10 a.m. Tuesday. He also said Tuscaloosa Police officers have taken "a person of interest" into custody.
