Juanita Smith Boutwell (November 8th, 1951 – September 22nd, 2024)
Juanita Smith Boutwell, age 72, of Northport, Alabama, passed away on September 22, 2024 at her residence.
Services will be at 2:00 p.m. Friday, September 27, 2024, at Magnolia Chapel South with Bro. Jonathan McKinney officiating. Burial will follow in Memory Hill Gardens with Magnolia Chapel South directing. Visitation will be one hour prior to services at the funeral home.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Molly Beard; father, Percy Smith; daughter, Trinia McDaniel; grandson, James Quick III; husband, Bobby Boutwell; brothers, Edward Gregory, Clyde Smith, Kenneth Smith, Ershly Smith, and Percy Smith Jr.; and sisters, Dorothy Smith, Opal Smith, Mildred Beard and Pearl Beard.
Survivors include Marlene McDaniel, Melinda McKinney (DJ), and Vickie Hernandez (Tommy); son, Karlos Hernandez (Lauren); sister, Brenda Smith; grandchildren, Christopher Allen, Noura Bamadhaf, Summer Barnett, Alexis Rice, Ramsey Ritchie, Branyon Traywick, Brooke German, Autumn Hernandez, Maddie Hernandez, Isreal Hernandez, Reece Hernandez, Aiden Hernandez, Kruz Hernandez, Faith Hunnicut, and Henry Hunnicut; and 14 great-grandchildren.
Juanita Smith Boutwell loved her family more than anything and loved spending time with them. Juanita was a strong, beautiful woman who took care of her family and loved a good hug. She especially loved her grandkids and great-grandchildren and adored every minute with them. Juanita was one of a kind and loved by so many and will be missed and in our hearts forever.
Pallbearers will be Christopher Allen, Branyon Traywick, Steven Whitehead, Aiden Hernandez, Perry Smith, and Christian Barnett.
Honorary pallbearers are a host of Juanita’s nephews.
