Janet Jackson Set To Perform In Alabama April 22nd

A legendary R&B talent is scheduled to perform at in Birmingham next April, promoters have announced.

Platinum-selling and five-time Grammy Award-winning artist Janet Jackson will headline the show set for April 22nd at the BJCC in the heart of downtown Birmingham.

Janet Jackson has sold more than 100 million units and is one of the best-selling music artists in history. In recognition of her singing and dancing talents, Janet Jackson has won 11 American Music Awards, five GRAMMY Awards, 10 MTV Video Music Awards, and 11 Billboard Music Awards just to name a few.

Janet Jackson will be joined on tour by three-time Grammy award-winning artist Ludacris.

Ludacris is not only a chart-topping rapper and record executive, he's also an actor and creator of a popular children's Netflix series. He's most known for his work on the big screen in the Fast and Furious film series playing the character Tej Parker.

Netflix is where you can watch Ludacris' children's series entitled Karma's World which follows a young girl in middle school as she learns to stay true to herself through music.

The show is set at the Legacy Arena At The BJCC on Saturday, April 22nd, scheduled to begin at 7:00 p.m.

Tickets go on sale this Friday, December 16th, at 11 a.m. and will be available through ticketmaster.com and at the BJCC box office.
