The Neighborhood Assistance Corporation of America (NACA) will host “Achieve the Dream,” a free home-buyer workshop for the Tuscaloosa community on Feb. 25 at Stillman College.

According to a Stillman press releaseNACA is a non-profit, community advocacy and home-ownership organization whose Achieve the Dream program helps residents take the first step to affordable home ownership with its “Best in America Mortgage,” which includes no down payment, no closing costs or fees, no mortgage insurance, and a below-market fixed rate.

This free, four-hour homebuyer workshop will include two sessions on Stillman’s campus on Feb. 25:

  • 9 a.m. – 1 p.m. (Stinson Auditorium)
  • 2 p.m. – 6 p.m. (Stinson Auditorium)

Registration is now open.

All NACA services are free, including pre-purchase counseling and assistance for homeowners.

According to the NACA, with rents skyrocketing nationwide, purchasing a home with NACA’s Best in America Mortgage will often result in a mortgage payment that is lower than one’s current rent.

If you'd like to register for this upcoming free event, you can click this link, or head over to Stillman's website for more details.
