24/7 Tempo reviewed the top-rated restaurants nationwide in the Mexican category on Yelp. “To be considered, restaurants needed to be in or near a city with a population of at least 100,000 people,” said 24/7 Tempo.

I’ve visited restaurants on the nationwide list and they truly met the standard.

Deerfield Beach, Florida - Casa Maya Grill

If you are ever in that area be sure to check it out. I enjoyed the friendly atmosphere and the dishes were delicious.

Durham, North Carolina – Taquería La Vaquita

Take my word on this, order the Choriqueso dip, it is perfection plus the Mulitas are delicious.

Mount Pleasant, South Carolina - Carmen y Juan

If you stop through the area, be sure to get the street tacos.

Tuscaloosa, Alabama - Antojitos Izcalli

Antojitos Izcalli has been recognized as the best in the entire Yellowhammer State. You can find this hot spot at 623 Hargrove Rd E, Tuscaloosa, AL 35401.

According to 24/7 Tempo they are known for their Tacos including a variety of meats like “calf’s head, tripe, or beef tongue, as well as other meats on freshly made tortillas.”
