James Spann, ABC 33/40, and Townsquare Media Tuscaloosa Chief Meteorologist said, “An unsettled weather pattern will continue across Alabama this week as an upper trough persists just to the west, keeping the air unstable. We are forecasting scattered to numerous showers and thunderstorms on a daily basis through Friday.”

This influx of wet weather comes our way from Gulf moisture that will be “increasing along the east coast as the clockwise flow around the Bermuda High opens the door for moisture to stream in. This moisture will interact with waves of upper-level energy and a stalled front to produce daily chances for rain and storms,” said The Weather Channel.

Timing

The prediction is that the active weather will happen between noon and midnight.
