The event for the Tuscaloosa community is all geared towards the raising of funds for Down Syndrome Alabama.

All proceeds will go to Down Syndrome Alabama.

The worthy event is about more than just the walk with live music coming from local Tuscaloosa-based Jackson Chase.

Chase is a rising star in the entertainment industry and among country music fans in the Southeast.

In addition, the event will feature several food trucks, activities for families and a silent auction.

All walkers have their choice of walking on their own or being part of a team.
