The Super Bowl is this week, and the NFL world will be watching the Chiefs attempt to win a third straight title in New Orleans, Louisiana. Either Kansas City or Philadelphia could make history, as seven former Crimson Tide players could earn a Super Bowl ring if Philadelphia pulls off an unprecedented upset on Sunday.

Following the Super Bowl in early February, the NFL world will converge on Indianapolis, Indiana, for the NFL combine. Two months later, the big weekend will be here with the 2025 NFL draft.

Between now and late April, more mock drafts will be run and posted than ever, with this year's draft expected to be one of the wildest in recent memory. ESPN released its latest mock draft, with two former Alabama superstars drafted in the first round.

The first Crimson Tide player taken off the board is linebacker Jihaad Campbell - who led the Crimson Tide in tackles (119) and sacks (5). Campbell came off the board at No. 18, drafted by the Seattle Seahawks. The Seahawks will look to replace their top linebacker from 2024, with Ernest Jones IV set to become an unrestricted free agent once the new league year begins in March.

Seven picks later, a second Alabama player came off the board, with Tyler Booker heading to the Houston Texans. It would be a familiar fit for Booker, who would join Will Anderson Jr., John Metchie III, Henry To'oTo'o, and Christian Harris as Alabama alum playing in Houston. In addition, Houston is coached by former Alabama linebacker DeMeco Ryans - a familiar face to many Crimson Tide fans. Houston is looking for offensive line help after their starting quarterback, CJ Stroud, was the second-most sacked quarterback in the NFL last season. Stroud was brought to the ground behind the line of scrimmage 52 times in 2024.

The rest of the two-round mock draft via ESPN had no Alabama players drafted, notably leaving out Alabama quarterback Jalen Milroe (who struggled last week at the Senior Bowl) and safety Malachi Moore.

Despite his struggles at the Senior Bowl, ESPN's Mel Kiper still has Milroe as one of the top-five quarterbacks heading into the 2025 draft.
