Watch: Jalen Hurts Launches Bomb to Ice Super Bowl 59
New Orleans, La. - The Super Bowl may be over before the start of the fourth quarter.

So far, it has been all Jalen Hurts and the Philadelphia Eagles over Patrick Mahomes and the Kansas City Chiefs, with the Eagles dominating defensively over the Chiefs' offensive line. With the Philadelphia offense, Saquon Barkley has not played at the level Eagles' fans wanted, but it has not mattered, as Jalen Hurts, AJ Brown, and DeVonta Smith have led the Eagles offense to a big lead.
No lead is safe against Patrick Mahomes. However, it is hard to imagine that the 34-0 lead Philadelphia took on the following play did not cement a victory for Philadelphia in Super Bowl 59.
Philadelphia takes the football with three minutes left in the third quarter, and most fans and coaches would think to run the ball with your best player - Barkley - to run as much clock as possible to end the Super Bowl.
That was not Nick Sirianni's plan.
Sirianni - the head coach of the Philadelphia Eagles - wanted the kill shot. He took it and relied on two former Alabama players to deliver.
Jalen Hurts winds up and uncorked a bomb to DeVonta Smith for a 46-yard touchdown, extending the Eagles' lead to five scores with less than 17 minutes left in the NFL season.
the shot of the touchdown was just as immaculate as the pass.
Currently, the Eagles are driving with a 34-6 lead, trying to chew the clock and earn its first Super Bowl win since Nick Foles in Super Bowl 52, and the second ever in Eagles history.
