On Wednesday morning, Chris Low of On3 Sports reported that there was "unrest" among large Alabama boosters as the Kalen DeBoer era hit a roadblock at the start of year two. The Crimson Tide is 5-5 over its last 10 games, and the only victory that looked like vintage Alabama was the 42-13 throttling of the LSU Tigers in Death Valley.

One rather large Alabama booster shared their unrest with On3 Sports and Chris Low:

"We’re spoiled, always have been. But when we put a team out there that looks uninspired, like we have far too many times these past two years and lose to teams that we’re clearly more talented than, that’s when it becomes a problem…and not just a bunch of spoiled fans griping.”

What is Alabama head coach Kalen DeBoer's response to the report of booster unrest?

"My message is that our team is - I think we got a good football team that can do some big things still this year. We gotta prove it, we gotta go do it, and to this point, it's been just me being able to focus on football, and I appreciate that."

DeBoer and the Crimson Tide are teetering on the edge of dangerous waters. If Alabama doesn't right the ship soon, it could spell the end of the Kalen DeBoer era quickly. If Alabama can right the ship, then DeBoer's even-keeled nature and soft-spoken demeanor will no longer be questioned. Until then, Alabama will continue to fight the "soft" allegations.
