Restraining Order Filed Against Deontay Wilder
Telli Swift, fiancée of boxer Deontay Wilder, has filed for a temporary restraining order against the Tuscaloosa native, claiming that Wilder abused her on several instances throughout the past six years, TMZ reported Thursday evening.
"I believe Deontay is capable of being physically violent towards me upon his return in June because he has expressed that he is furious with me since April and has been physically abusive with me in the past," Swift said in a quote from TMZ.
Swift filed for the temporary restraining order late last week. A judge granted it two days after Wilder's fight against Zhilei Zhang.
Swift alleged that Wilder spat on her several times, choked her multiple times, and on one occasion nearly suffocated her by forcing her face into a pillow during a fit of rage.
Also added to the allegations, Swift claimed that the 38-year-old Wilder threatened to damage her personal belongings and insulted her constantly. According to TMZ, Swift also revealed that Wilder "expected her to have intercourse with him 'three times a day.'"
The latest allegation against Wilder was marked by violence. TMZ reported, "Most recently, on April 15, she [Swift] claimed he had her thrown out of their Atlanta residence -- this despite her being in a fragile state due to recent invasive surgery."
Swift said that she and their six-year-old daughter have lived in their Los Angeles home since the alleged April 15 incident. However, Swift "claimed Wilder has been using the home's surveillance system to spy on her."
Additionally, Swift revealed that she is concerned that Wilder may get violent with her once he returns from his fight with Zhang.
The temporary restraining order forces Wilder to remain at least 100 yards away from Swift and their daughter until June 25, when the two appear in front of a judge.
Wilder has not responded to the allegations as of Thursday evening.
