Former Crimson Tide cornerback Pat Surtain II has kicked off the top 10 players in the National Football League's top 100 players of 2025 ranking, voted on by his teammates around the league.

During his time in Tuscaloosa, Surtain racked up the awards and accolades, being named First Team All-SEC, Unanimous All-American, and SEC Defensive Player of the Year all during 2020. As a true freshman, Surtain tallied 37 tackles and one interception in 12 starts. In his second year with the Tide, he racked up 42 total tackles, two interceptions, three forced fumbles, and a fumble recovery. In his final year wearing Crimson and white, Surtain was a main component in winning the National Championship. He also won Defensive MVP of the 2021 Rose Bowl.

Surtain was drafted by the Denver Broncos with the ninth pick of the 2021 NFL draft, where he continues to play. He signed a four-year extension worth $96 million with $77.5 million guaranteed. Surtain tallied 45 tackles, four interceptions, one of which was returned for a score. During the NFL Honors Ceremony following the 2024 season, Surtain was named NFL's Defensive Player of the Year while also being named to the Pro Bowl and First-team All-Pro.
