There was no change at the very top of the AP poll in college basketball. The Auburn Tigers, previously the unanimous No. 1 team in the country, finally fell in SEC play, opening the door for a new team to take the reigns as the best team in college basketball.

Auburn fell to the Florida Gators, 90-81 at home. With Auburn's loss, there are no undefeated teams in SEC play. Alabama is tied with Auburn for the lead in the SEC standings with one month left in the regular season.

Auburn's loss opened the door for Duke to be the No. 1 team until the Blue Devils fell to Clemson shortly after in a 77-71 loss at Clemson.

Alabama, the then-No. 3 team in the country, survived a 20-point comeback attempt by the Arkansas Razorbacks in Bud Walton Arena on Saturday, cementing an 85-81 victory to advance to 9-1 in SEC play.

Despite the losses by No. 1 and No. 2, the Tigers remain the top team in college basketball, although it is no longer unanimous. Alabama came in just nine points behind the Tigers for the top spot in the AP Poll.
