LEXINGTON, Ky. -- The Alabama Crimson Tide has arrived in Lexington, Kentucky, for Saturday afternoon's SEC opener against the Kentucky Wildcats. The Crimson Tide won't be at full strength, however, with eight players listed as "out" on Friday night's report and another listed as questionable.

Dear was previously listed as questionable on Wednesday and Thursday, while offensive lineman Michael Carroll suffered a concussion during practice this week and was listed as doubtful prior to Friday night. He's now listed as out.

 

The only questionable designation on Alabama's availability report is freshman defensive back Jireh Edwards, who underwent arm surgery in the preseason.

No. 12 Alabama (1-0) will face Kentucky (1-0) on Saturday, September 12, at Kroger Field in Lexington, Kentucky. Kickoff is scheduled for 2:30 p.m. CT.
