Former Auburn Coach Trolls Tigers on Monday

Bryan Harsin's departure from the Auburn Tigers was an ugly divorce for both parties involved. Amid rumors of infidelity by Harsin and a clear disdain for the program he was coaching, the departure could not come soon enough for Harsin and the Tigers.

All season long, Harsin has trolled the Tigers on X, the social media platform formerly known as Twitter. Auburn's 28-14 loss to the Alabama Crimson Tide teed up Harsin for a doozy of a post on Monday following the Iron Bowl, a game Harsin went 0-1 in before being fired a month before the Iron Bowl in 2022.

Harsin delivered on Monday morning.

There are a handful of takeaways from Harsin's post-Iron Bowl post.

Firstly, the Bible verse is James 5:7, which preaches patience,

"Be patient, therefore, brothers, until the coming of the Lord. See how the farmer waits for the precious fruit of the earth, being patient about it, until it receives the early and the late rains," James 5:7 ESV.

Auburn fans are notorious for not being patient with head coaches, especially with Harsin's Auburn Tiger tenure.

More than that, however, is where the verse came from. The fifth chapter of the book of James, and the seventh verse, or 5:7. Auburn's record in 2024? 5-7.

The icing on the cake, however, is in the reflection of the window Harsin is standing in front of.

Harsin appears to be wearing a "LANK" Shirt in his post, which is the "Let All Naysayers Know" mantra that Jalen Milroe and the Alabama Crimson Tide have had for two seasons. It was a mantra that started following Alabama's sloppy 17-3 win over USF in 2023.

It likely makes Auburn fans and boosters furious knowing that some of the $15.3 million buyout they paid Harsin to not coach the Tigers is being funneled into the Alabama NIL collective. Proceeds bought from the LANK shirt go to the Crimson Tide's NIL fund and Jalen Milroe, the co-founder of the LANK merch line.
