The Detroit Lions earned the No. 1 seed in the NFC, so we won't see Jahmyr Gibbs until the divisional round. Still, the former Alabama star left a lasting impression on the NFL, earning NFC Offensive Player of the Month and NFC Offensive Player of the Week honors during the final week of the regular season.

Gibbs totaled 439 rushing yards and six rushing touchdowns over the regular season's final month while adding 24 catches for 235 yards and three touchdowns in the receiving game. Gibbs took over as the top running back in Detroit following a leg injury to Lions starter David Montgomery.

Gibbs earned a Pro Bowl nod for the second time in his career for his efforts in the 2024 season, a year that saw Gibbs rush for 1,000 yards for the first time in his career. He finished the regular season appearing in all 17 games for Detroit with 1,412 rushing yards, averaging 5.6 yards per carry, and 16 rushing touchdowns on the year. Gibbs also caught 52 passes for 517 receiving yards and four touchdowns in the regular season.

Detroit will have a bye during the Wildcard round of the NFL Playoffs, but Crimson Tide fans can watch Gibbs in action once again during the divisional round of the NFL playoffs, where Detroit will face the lowest remaining seed in the postseason.
