Turner sustained a minor knee injury on Sept.15 during the contest against the San Francisco 49ers. He played 18 snaps and recorded two tackles before exiting the game. Following the injury, coach Kevin O'Connell stated that Turner's status would be evaluated on a day-to-day basis.

However, Turner missed practice for two straight days and has been seen wearing a knee brace. On Thursday, he informed reporters that he is expected to be absent from this weekend's matchup but is hopeful to return in week 4 against the Green Bay Packers.

While the injury is not severe, it is best that Turner takes this time to recover. He expressed his intention to support his teammates, who are among the nine undefeated teams, stating his role this weekend will be to cheer them on in any way he can.
