We're a week away from the most highly anticipated game in Tuscaloosa since LSU came to town in 2019. The Crimson Tide will host the Georgia Bulldogs on September 28 in the first game between the two without Nick Saban since they squared up in 2003. The next time they played, in 2007, Nick Saban was patrolling the sideline.

Saban will be in town, but he won't be on the sideline. He's a member of College Gameday, and it was announced on Saturday that College Gameday will be in Tuscaloosa on September 28 for the monumental matchup between Alabama and Georgia.

Alabama has hosted College Gameday 31 times since the show started in 1993. In those 31 games, Alabama has posted a 19-12 record, with the most recent game coming in the 2023 season, when Alabama defeated LSU 42-28.

Georgia and Alabama had College Gameday last year, but it was in Atlanta for the SEC Championship game.

It was where Pat McAfee had his hilarious troll attempt at Georgia fans, doing the entire Georgia chant before screaming, "Give me Alabama!" The guest picker that day was comedian Theo Von.

Alabama defeated Georgia 27-24 in Atlanta to clinch the school's 29th SEC Championship in football, and it would be the final win of Nick Saban's coaching career.

Georgia and Alabama kick off in Bryant-Denny Stadium at 6:30 p.m. on September 28. You can listen to Chris Stewart and the Alabama radio broadcast on the free Tide 100.9 app.
