Cole Adams Signs With The Crimson Tide

National Signing Day continues for Alabama with the addition of 4-star wide receiver Cole Adams. Adams committed to Alabama in late June after a tight recruiting battle between the Crimson Tide and the Oklahoma Sooners.

The 5'10", 180 pound senior from Owasso, Oklahoma sustained a shoulder injury during the first half of the opening game for Owasso High School. While Adams missed the remainder of the 2022 season, he still had an enormous impact on the field during his previous seasons.

During the 2021 season, Adams had 55 receptions for 913 yards and 8 touchdowns. Throughout his entire high school career, Adams had a total of 105 receptions for 2015 yards and 21 receiving touchdowns. Adams also served as a punt returner for the Owasso Rams where he had 548 yards, 1 punt returning touchdown, and 3 kick returning touchdowns.

Speed is definitely one of the biggest traits for Adams, as the receiver is also a track star. In 2021, Adams ran 100 meters in 10.65 seconds and then 200 meters in 22.27 seconds. Adams is currently listed as a top 5 receiver in the state of Oklahoma and the 60th best wide receiver in the country according to 247Sports.com.

Adams was recruited by assistant head coach of offense and wide receivers, Holoman Wiggins. The receiver stated that he has a "crazy good" relationship with the Alabama coaching staff in an interview with Touchdown Alabama Magazine. 

“Our relationship is crazy good. Coach Sam Petitto and coach Wiggins have been keeping up with me, and the relationship has just blasted off since then.”

Adams is sure to be a main contributor to the Crimson Tide's offense in the upcoming seasons.
