According to a graphic from ESPN PR on X, Alabama's thrilling 41-34 win over the Georgia Bulldogs on Saturday drew an average of 12 million viewers, making it the most-watched regular-season primetime game on any network since 2017.

The game reached a peak viewership of 14.1 million viewers, more than the two previous games on the network, Auburn/Oklahoma and Kentucky/Ole Miss combined.

The game is also ESPN's most-streamed regular season college football game on record, per ESPN PR.

College Gameday in Tuscaloosa also had substantial viewership numbers, averaging 2.3 million viewers, up 38% from week five in 2023. Saturday's episode was the best September rendition of ESPN's College Gameday since 2010 and the second-best ever.

The program is currently on pace to have its best season in its 37-year history. Coincidentally, the first season with Saban.

Now, that's what we call The Saban Effect.
