Oats and the Crimson Tide are not content with just getting recruits to visit Alabama, however. According to On3 Sports Joe Tipton, Alabama head coach Nate Oats and assistant coach Preston Murphy are in Huntsville, Alabama today to visit the No. 1 shooting guard in the country for 2026, Caleb Holt.

Holt stands at 6-foot-5 and 200 pounds. He is ranked in the top five as a national recruit in the class of 2026.

Holt was offered by Alabama in April 2022.

Holt was also a member of the U17 Basketball World Cup in 2024, averaging 11.1 points, 3.3 rebounds, 2.9 assists, and 1.9 steals per game on the international stage.
