Tuscaloosa, AL - Alabama wide receiver Kobe Prentice has put his name in the transfer portal according to Matt Zenitz of 247 Sports. Prentice is the second Alabama player to enter the portal on Tuesday, with cornerback Jahlil Hurley doing so Tuesday morning.

Prentice was a top-80 overall recruit in the 2022 recruiting class, choosing the Crimson Tide after de-committing from Maryland.

A junior from Calera, Alabama, Prentice has appeared in 10 games for Alabama in 2024, and 36 overall during his time as a member of the Crimson Tide.

During his Alabama tenure, Prentice has recorded 60 catches for 780 yards and five touchdowns. In 2024, he finished the regular season with 11 catches for 129 yards and one touchdown.

Prentice may not be the only Alabama wide receiver to enter the portal, but his departure dings the Alabama wide receiver room depth heading into a potential playoff run following Tuesday night's rankings show.
