Some unfortunate news for college basketball's newest No. 1 ranked team, Alabama head coach Nate Oats announced at his Tuesday press conference that center Charles Bediako suffered a knee injury that will keep him out of action for an undetermined amount of time.

Bediako reportedly suffered a minor knee injury and will be day-to-day for the time being.

The sophomore has averaged 5.6 points and 5.3 rebounds per game. The rim protector has tallied 41 blocks this season and has been deadly on the receiving end of lobs and finishing pick and rolls.

The Crimson Tide was named the No. 1 team in the nation for the first time in 20 years this week and is set to take on the Tennessee Volunteers in Knoxville on Wednesday.

Oats will turn to Noah Clowney, Nick Pringle and Noah Gurley to fill the missing minutes. All three players have played extensively this season.
